Grade II Listed Historic Building Leadwork, Canterbury

RT Alkin Leadwork and Roofing were proudly appointed as the specialist leadwork contractor on this huge restoration of the Poor priests Hospital in Canterbury. Due to the age and architectural style of the building, we used predominantly code 7 Lead on all roof coverings and detailing. Our team ensured that all leadwork met the highest standards of traditional roofing craftsmanship. Therefore preserving the structure while enhancing its durability for generations to come.

Collaborative Conservation Roofing Project

We were sub-contracted by the main company overseeing the project to provide specialist leadwork services. We regularly work alongside other skilled trades and contractors to deliver seamless restoration results. While the primary contractor managed the tiled roofing elements, our team focused exclusively on the heritage leadwork package.
